\nOf course, an open pit also raises questions about climate change<\/strong> or more theoretically
\nthe concept of nature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The fact is, in a almost completely cultivated<\/strong>, mostly by agricultural land<\/strong> shaped landscape
\n(forest plantations inclusive), these raw landscapes are an exceptions and last resorts for

I myself was part of monitoring and ringing schemes<\/strong> in former opencast mines. So the
\nreason for this recent visit in a partially still active open pit was the evaluation for
\nconservation measures concerning the Europe-wide declining population of the
