{"id":134,"date":"2008-08-03T11:39:22","date_gmt":"2008-08-03T11:39:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.singwarte.info\/singwarte_wordpress\/?p=134"},"modified":"2019-12-06T07:11:50","modified_gmt":"2019-12-06T07:11:50","slug":"wrong","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.singwarte.info\/?p=134","title":{"rendered":"Wrong!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>August 2008<\/strong><br \/>\nEarlier the year Haldensleben (central Germany) based ornithologist<br \/>\n<strong>Reinhold Brennecke<\/strong> called me to report a local Corn Bunting <em>Emberiza<br \/>\ncalandra<\/em> with an <strong>aberrant song<\/strong>. The bird would have two different kinds<br \/>\nof song \u2013 one similar to the Yellowhammer <em>Emberiza citrinella<\/em> and in<br \/>\naddition a <strong>mixed song<\/strong> containing Yellowhammer and Corn Bunting<br \/>\nelements.<\/p>\n<p>By chance I read an article about a <strong>similar case<\/strong> in eastern Germany<br \/>\na few days ago and decided to try to get a sound recording of the singer.<\/p>\n<p>I was lucky enough to find the bird exactly at the described spot and<br \/>\ncould confirm it as a Corn Bunting.<\/p>\n<p>As reported it sang <strong>two different types of songs<\/strong>.
